Marlborough, MA - Ruland Manufacturing has acquired the assets of RoCom Couplings, a Santa Maria, California-based company specializing in beaming technology, including beam couplings, machined springs, and custom beamed components. The acquisition expands Ruland’s beam coupling offerings and enhances its manufacturing capabilities to better serve customers requiring precision-engineered flexible couplings and custom machined solutions.

Marlborough, MA - Ruland Manufacturing now offers bellows and double disc couplings with bore sizes up to 1-3/4 in or 45 mm for use in systems with torque up to 1,4000 in-lbs (158 Nm). High torque applications commonly found in precision semiconductor, solar, conveyor, and factory automation applications often use these shaft sizes. The FIRST Robotics Competition gives high school students six weeks to design, program, and build a complex robot. The competition kicked off on Saturday January 5th, and culminates in St. Louis, MO with the FIRST Robotics Championship from April 24-27, 2013.
