    PRODUCT SPECIFICATIONS

    This Ruland jaw coupling bundle contains JCC50-24-A and JD50/80-92Y. To make a complete assembly you must specify two hubs and one spider. All parts have an OD of 3.125" (79.4mm) and assembled length of 4.379" (111.2mm). JCC50-24-A is a clamp hub with a 1.5000" bore and 3/8" keyway. JD50/80-92Y is a 92 Shore A spider. The dampening characteristics of this zero-backlash jaw coupling reduce settling time and shock loads making it well suited for systems that have agressive acceleration/deceleration profiles. Ruland jaw couplings have a balanced design for reduced vibration at speeds up to 8,000 RPM. Hardware is metric and tests beyond DIN 912 12.9 standards for maximum torque capabilities. Hubs are manufactured in our Marlborough, MA factory under strict controls using proprietary processes from bar stock that is sourced exclusively from North American mills. All components in this bundle are RoHS3 and REACH compliant.

    Torque ratings for the couplings are based on the physical limitations/failure point of the spiders. Under normal/typical conditions the hubs are capable of holding up to the nominal torque of the spiders. In some cases especially when the smallest standard bores are used or where shafts are undersized slippage on the shaft is possible below the nominal torque of the spiders. Keyways are available to provide additional torque capacity in the shaft/hub connection when required. Please consult technical support for more assistance.
